National Sales Manager Street Lighting Highways Lighting Our client is a leading supplier of electronic and lighting solutions to local authorities and the highways agency. As a result of ambitious growth plans for the next 3 years we are seeking an experienced sales professional with a track record of specification sales to local authorities and state agencies to join in this senior, sales director designate, role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious business.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for an initial team of 3 sales people but with additional headcount foreseen. You will have responsibility for drving the UK business by identifying and developing business opportunities as well as developing on going relationships among key market players, including lighting engineers through to local authority chairpersons, planners, Mayors, and other local politicians. You will have excellent presentation skills and comfortable in exhibition and seminars etc. Technical experience of lighting or electronics is not essential but is a distinct advantage. Initially the succesful candidate will also be responsible for the midlands region however this is only until additional headcount is taken on. For your efforts and experience we are offering a very competitive salary and bonus, with excellent future earnings potential as it is envisaged the successful candidate will earn in circa £150K in Year 3 if targets are achieved.
